Galatians 3:10 (NLT)

10 But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.”

 

 

Point number 1:

The price to get into heaven is total perfection.

 

 

 

Deuteronomy 27:26  (NKJV)

26 ‘Cursed is the one who does not confirm all the words of this law by observing them.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ ”

 

 

 

Galatians 3:11 (NLT)

11 So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” 

 

 

 

Habakkuk 2:4 (NLT)

4 “Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.

 

 

Point number 2:

The biggest lie people tell themselves is that you can be anything you want to be.

 

 

 

Galatians 3:12 (NLT)

12 This way of faith is very different from the way of law, which says, “It is through obeying the law that a person has life.”

 

 

Leviticus 18:1-5  (NLT)

18 Then the Lord said to Moses, 2 “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. I am the Lord your God. 3 So do not act like the people in Egypt, where you used to live, or like the people of Canaan, where I am taking you. You must not imitate their way of life. 4 You must obey all my regulations and be careful to obey my decrees, for I am the Lord your God. 5 If you obey my decrees and my regulations, you will find life through them. I am the Lord.

 

 

Point number 3:

If you strive for salvation by being a good person, then you are denying your need for God’s Grace.

 

 

 

Galatians 3:13 (NLT)

13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” 

 

 

Deuteronomy 21:23  (NLT)

23 the body must not remain hanging from the tree overnight. You must bury the body that same day, for anyone who is hung is cursed in the sight of God. In this way, you will prevent the defilement of the land the Lord your God is giving you as your special possession.

 

 

 

Galatians 3:14 (NLT)

14 Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.

 

  

Point number 4:

You are saved by Grace alone, Faith alone, Christ alone, Scripture alone, To the glory of God alone. You do nothing to earn your own salvation.
